Spencer Jackson serves as General Counsel and Secretary of Getaround. Prior to his role at Getaround, Jackson served as Vice President,General Counsel, and Secretary at Ooma, Inc., a cloud-based provider of communications and connected services. He was also a corporate and intellectual property transactions attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, an international law firm, and worked as an attorney for Intel Capital, the venture-investing arm of Intel Corporation, during 2010 while on a secondment from Orrick. Mr. Jackson is admitted to practice law in the State of California and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a registered patent attorney. Mr. Jackson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s degree in Geophysics from Stanford University, and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
